Emilgroup steps twice onto the podium at Tile Competition

Two Emilgroup's collections, In-Essence by Provenza and Fashon by Emilceramica, have been chosen to realize two important architectural projects in the USA.
These projects both have won the Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition, the longest-running award program that honores the use of Italian tile in North American architecture and design.

Fashon collection by Emilceramica has been used in the Ocean House project, which won the award as the best project in the "Residential" category. Ocean House is a prestigious guest house located on New York's Fire Island.

Bromley Carldari Architects used Fashion tiles to blur the line betweenthe indoor space of the guesthouse and the adjacent outdoor pool area. Emilceramica tilealso provided the guesthouse and adjacent patio with a consistent design and high level of durability.

In-Essence, by Provenza, was the highlight of a restyling project on a prestigious resort: The Ridge, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, which has received the commercial honorable mention in the competition.

The Architects of CallisonRTKL have approached this project of architectural renewal with great sensibility and attention for the history of that place. In order to mantain the warm atmosphere of the resort, they have chosen In-Essence collection to rediscover the values of the craftsmanship of yesteryear and the signs left by time passing.
