Thanks to its L’H collection,Viva wins the coveted Ceramic Design Award, promoted by the ADI associationas part of the cultural activities of Cersaie 2016. The aim of the initiative is to promote the most innovative products in the Italian ceramics sector.

This important acknowledgment represents a first step towards the coveted award established in 1954 based on an original idea by Gio Ponti, the “Compasso D’Oro”.

L’H is a surface with a strong experiential impact and intelligent technological implementation. This, in short, was the reason given by the judges for their selection of L’H as one ofthe winning collections in the competition.

"L’H is a revolutionary project that is the culmination of an ambitious research project”, states Carlo Raimondi, Commercial Director of Viva. “A collection that does not stop at the material itself, but involves (and revolutionises) the aesthetic lines of surfaces. The result is a “skin” with an innovative concept of design and shape that is exciting, as it defines a new standard of aesthetic surface".

“The collection” explains Giancarlo Macchioni, head of R&D at Emilgroup, “draws inspiration from salvaged veneered wood, hence the entire productline is characterised by scratches and other typical signs of wear and tear that give added originality, so that it becomes a veritable element of contemporary furnishing with a real wow factor”.
